    Description

    WWI US Serviceman's handwritten four page letter with envelope from July 1919. The photographs showing the readability are misleading, the ink can be seen from both sides but the words are quite legible. This lucky lad had managed to survive two years of service and was trying to tie up some loose ends.  Mailed from The War Camp in Savannah GA, which was used for entertainment and resources for traveling troops but was decommissioned shortly after WWI. Very cool piece of history from over one hundred years ago.
